Default ZTK Owners Regrets?

I wanted to pose this question. For those with the ZTK option, does the high wing ever make you regret ordering this option over the lower standard wing? I have yet been fortunate enough to see either in person. Thank you in advance.

I can't exactly answer your question but I have the SAW (small azz wing) and have no regrets. They both look good and unless you're going to track it's just a personal preference thing IMO. If you plan to track then the BAW is the way to go. Either way it's a fantastic car!

It’s funny. But I’ll post a contrary view. I bought a low wing. I bet the high wing purchasers have better vision out their rear windows than I do! Not complaining...just observing.

Maybe but we made the 2600 mi. round trip to the Black Hills Corvette Classic and I never even thought about the wing, so it's sort of like the "tall hood", soon you never notice. The car screams with either wing!

No one regrets at all... can’t even imagine anyone “regretting” getting it.

From my perspective the only regret would be not getting the package.

I would buy the big wing. I would also just wish it would move or retract so I could stow the top without magic moves lol.

I ordered with the low wing, for less radical look, ease of access to cargo area and smoother ride. Got a chance to get this one early and took it.

As far as the looks goes, I haven't seen one with the low wing in person and this one looks pretty darn good.
Loading from side is not a big problem and I really load it up for trips to CA.
Ride with the ZTK pkg is better than my Z06 W/O track pkg.
I really like the unobstructed view out the rear, with the high wing, which I would not have with the low wing.

I regrets here on the big wing. Got used to it quick and everywhere I go People ask, “where did you get the air foil?” It turns heads lol

NOT. ONE. REGRET.

To me it’s what makes this ZR1 a ZR1....not to take anything away from the low wing, but I didn’t get this car to “blend in”

Changed my order late in the process and elected to go with the ZTK package. Was heavily leaning towards small wing, but seeing the big wing in person changed my mind. Glad I did, no regrets here.

IMO the wing compliments the rest of the design.

Zero regrets on my ZTK purchase. I love the way it looks and will be tracking at least 3-4 times a year so I’ll actually use it. Most people think the wing is aftermarket though, even a GM service tech! I almost fell in the floor when he asked me “did you put that wing on it?”. Low wing cars look fine but the ZTK package makes the ZR1 IMO.

NO NO and not. Know some LW owners who have wished they went BAW. Agree this one is easier to see around! But low wing probably easier to load the trunk? Big wing comes with the better suspension as well !

Ben at weaponX made a bracket to lower the wing.
