R&T's Performance Car of the Year
It is that time of the year, hot on the heels of Motor Trend's BDC Competition, Road & Track announced their PCOY contenders for 2018 this year today: https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-car...ineup-preview/
The ZR1 is going against the GT2 RS again here but McLaren upped the ante by sending a Senna and Ferrari is actually playing ball too, I'm looking forward to seeing what the 488 Pista is going to do!

Drifting
The Senna will undoubtedly win the objective performance tests, but it is brutally stiff and non compliant on public roads. It is an extremely focused race car. Is the ZR1 an A8? BMW or Alfa Romeo have a shot at the title as both are high performance cars, practical and excel on both road and track.

Here is their latest update.
I'd say that PCOTY is the best of these three mega tests that we get in September. Their layout, pictures, and writing are always phenomenal. Though LL is awesome because it takes opinions out of the equation and because of the sheer number of cars competing/historical lap times/extra data is fun to nerd out on. MT BDC is cool because of Randy and MT's extreme lead on the others in video.
It will be interesting to see what the Senna does but I have a hard time caring about a car that I will probably never even see (which might actually be good because it is not a very attractive thing) let alone drive or even be close to owning. Really excited to see the ZR1 going against the Pista though and of course I want to see what the GT2 RS can do on the 'Vette's home track.

Banned Scam/Spammer
Exactly, it is stupid. Who cares about a million dollar race car with turn signals. 99.99999% of the world will never own one anyway. I just hate how Corvettes are ALWAYS compared to cars that cost two or three times as much. Compare a $95,000 Gayman with an equally priced Z06. The results would be laughable and never published by the Porsche humping auto press that slobbers over these go carts.
