You wouldn't believe the scratches the dealer crew put into the soft, new paint on my newborn 3/4 ton last November before delivery. I always instruct to not clean ANYTHING on or outside my vehicle every time I take it to the shop. The 'detailing' guys aren't necessarily at the top of the pay scale.

I know how you feel. When I looked at the webcam back in 2015 I thought my car was in one location but was In 8 right behind the other one. Black 2lt red interior base Didn't know till got there which one eas mine.
