Default Museum Delivery Dec 29

Excited to say the least. Car was built on December 7. Scheduled for Saturday delivery. Anyone else going to be there that weekend? Thanks a bunch to Alan Johnson from Mattick Chevy and Deb for hooking up the connection! Drive home will be a blast, hopefully without snow...

I was there last month for pickup. You will really enjoy their presentation of your new vehicle. It's a great experience. The people that run that operations are awesome. Hopefully you will get better weather than I did. I left the museum right into the teeth of an ice/sleet/snow storm. I recommend you try to save your appetite and try eating at the Cafe for lunch. The food is quite good. Have fun.

Alan Johnson is a good guy, got my 2017 Z06/Z07 from him, treated me REAL GOOD. Good luck, I am sure you will be real pleased after the wait.

Thanks everyone! Alan has been awesome! So much better than my experience with a certain dealership in Atlantic City in the past. This will be my second Museum delivery car. My first was a 2006 ZO6 that I picked up after returning from deployment in Iraq. Everyone was top notch! Sorry we going to miss each other Yelo! hopefully the weather favors us both!

I can't tell you how glad I am to hear you're driving it home from the Museum! I can't believe that some guys are 'trailering' them back. They are 'machines' and NEED to be driven and enjoyed. Half the fun of owning 'em is detailing after a road trip. Just imagine how much fun that first road trip is going to be.

Hey.... if the weather sucks, hang out in Nashville for a few days until the roads are better.

When we picked up our early C7 'vert' in December of 2013, we drove it back to Texas in mostly rain and sleet. Our arms got tired of waving to all the folks giving us the 'thumbs up'.....

Best to 'ya and keep the shiney side up.... We'll be watching you take delivery.

Congratulations! You will thoroughly enjoy the familiarization discussion of your new car. The folks in the delivery department really enjoy their work and are very personable. Oh yeah, very knowledgeable, too!
