Harvey, that has to be a record, I am looking forward to when you hit #100
Interesting. He has transported my car and lot's of Friends, definitely worth getting a hold of.

Hello everyone. I will be doing the museum delivery on the 20th and was wondering which transport service I should use to have the car shipped back to me in El Paso, TX. I would like to arrange for the car to go on the transport immediately after I am done with the museum delivery. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Whatever you do don't deal with a broker. Talk to a rep. working for the company that owns or leases the rig. Suggest you make early arrangements, thereby, ensuring a truck is available when you are ready for pickup.

There are several car haulers here as vendors. And for the most part they have all been well rated. Hopefully members that have used them will post their experiences.

Tri sucks period! He answered the phone 1 time out of 25 calls, said I will call you back in a few minutes. 10 days later and nothing! This guy is a complete joke and a half!

My car was picked up and delivered with the best care by Tri with updates through out the trip. He was hard to contact at first, but considering most of the other places never got back to me and/or had long waiting times, he was easy to to work with and got my car delivered in record time.

I'm new to having car delivered by transporter: did any of you tip the driver; and if so, how much?
Thanks in advance.

Recently sent off transport availability/price quotes for my newly-built (TPW 2/4/19) ZR1 (#1787: SGM/A8/3ZR black perf w/ red stitch/belts/calipers/low wing/Museum Delivery 2/22/19) to Tri-Logistics, Plycar, Nationwide, Intercity + Reliable). Only 2 responses: Nationwide got my business (only one that responded avail before end of Feb) to transport to CA Bay Area for $2250. Will let you all know how it went upon receipt... Do you tip the driver upon delivery (this is obviously my first time) and if so, how much? Thanks in advance.

Hi CaddyJimz06,
Saw your post + responses. There are at least 2 other related ZR1 threads: you'll get additional valuable info there...
I tried 6 different enclosed delivery services including those recommended here + provided by Shane @ Museum Delivery: only 3 responded, and only 1 was actually available for my delivery date at the Museum of this Feb 22: Nationwide Delivery (ask for Janet Bell @ 855 689-6498; online quote @ www.nationwidellc.com ). Shane indicated the museum can only hold the vehicle for approx 1 week after delivery.
My ZR's being delivered to CA Bay Area 4-16 days from loading for $2250. Prior posts have reported approx 1 dollar/mile + 1 response to my inquiry on delivery etiquette was a $100 "tip" for driver upon delivery in undamaged condition.
Your delivery can be observed by anyone that coulkdn't make the trip with you online at museum website cam FYI.
Congrats + good luck to you!
