Default How to install end caps

This might be a dumb question but I am wondering if there are directions for installing the end caps.

I picked the car up from the Museum and the end caps weren't installed when I took delivery. Do I need to lift the car up to do it?

No need to lift the car up. I think all you need is a T-15 and a socket wrench for the lower screw under the splitter. I’m sure someone will chime in with more detail that I provided but long story short it’s a simple install.

I would check to see if you could take it to a dealer near you to have them install it. Worth a few phone calls man..

That's what I was thinking as well. I need to have them install the performance intake too.

There’s literally 4 screws to undo. But if you’re needing to have the performance intake done then so be it. But it’s a very simple installation.

The GM intake is involved, but the end caps are straight forward.

3 T15 and 1 7mm underneath. If the Z is not on a lift, make sure the 7mm is going verticle when putting them on. The cap lines up on install.
