Default Elkhart Lake Blue ZR1 vs Laguna Blue Z06 (Pics inside)

Took delivery of my ZR1 yesterday. I know there were questions about the difference between the new Elkhart Lake Blue and Laguna Blue, so I parked my ‘15 Z06 next to the new car and took some pictures. In person, the difference is a little more dramatic. The Elkhart Lake Blue is a little more “royal” or perhaps a slight bit more purple. Both colors are stunning in my opinion.

Great pics! Waiting on my ELB ! Always loved laguna blue. Cool to see them side by side. Both are darker than my JSB c6 zo6.

Laguna appears slightly darker to me. My Z06 is LBM and ELB was not available at the time my ZR1 allocation came up so my ZR1 is Admiral Blue. ELB is a great color and these pics confirm the ZR1 is beautiful in this color. I'll manage to live with ABM color on my ZR1 though yours is fabulous.

Both great looking cars...May I please ask you to give us a write-up after a few days or few hundred miles on how you like your new ZR1? Thank you...Enjoy your new car every time you take it for a drive...Enjoy the manual car...was your Z06 a manual too?

I'm also going from a 2016 Laguna Blue Z06 to a 2019 Elkhart Lake Blue ZR1. Both colors are standouts and after seeing the ELB in a Z06 last night at our Corvette Club meeting sponsoring dealership, I must say it is stunning. Everyone at the meeting agreed! Thanks for the comparison, I think by your pictures and others I've seen, there is a little difference in partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, with the ELB being slightly darker. In bright sunlight, which I have yet to see a comparison, I bet it's hard to tell the difference, though you get a sense of that in some of your pics. Mine builds next week and I can hardly wait till I get it here! Here's a few pics of that ELB Z06 from last night.

I’ll happily share some thoughts about the car after I get some more seat time. Initial thought: B.A.

My Z06 was also a manual.
