Default Tires?

Looks like we don't have many choices on tires, other than what comes on the car. Unless, you go down to a less performing tire. What is everyone getting?

Think I will stay with the Cup2s when I replace mine soon. Even thought they are not the best when it's cold in Michigan, loving them in Florida ---street driving.

I replaced my Cup 2’s with Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my ZR1, and Z06. Its a great tire, and more usable on the street than the Cup 2. I use the Cups on warmer dry track days.

When you start with the best you can only go down. Pilot super sports will offer more grip than you can legally use on the road with a lot more mileage, and the as3+ will work in the cold and rain. I know some do it, but I wouldn’t even consider driving the zr1 in snow.

I bought a 2nd set of wheels and intend to use the SS on the street and cup2 on the track.

On my last two Z06/Z07's and my ZR1, I replaced the cup tires with non run flat Michelin pilot super sports, they work great for where I live and drive
