Default The ZR1 CF parts

Did some searching on the net and I believe this is the company that produces most or all of the CF stuff that the ZR1 comes with (like the splitter, winglets, ZTK spoiler etc etc).

Can someone confirm whether I am correct or not?

I wonder if they sell to the public.

I am betting it will be a no. A Denso oxygen sensor is one thing. But many specialty parts that come from outside suppliers come with the stipulation in the contract that they will not break the supply chain. Even when the supplier is not so much a secret. For example on the Ford Raptor, the Fox shocks they use. I live maybe five miles away from Fox Racing. If I went and showed up trying to buy a set of those (I wouldn’t since I don’t own a F150), they tell me I have to buy them from Ford even though it’s blatantly obvious it’s their product.

But if they are a rare exception, I’ll happily buy a spare front splitter from them!

Still no reply from them and I'm not concerned about whether they will sell these CF parts directly to the public or you can only get them via GM. However I yanked my front splitter off today and it looks like I am correct in them making these CF parts for GM for this car.

FWIW Debotech is open, as evidenced by them answering their phone. This is relevant because I’ve been waiting ~6 weeks for a new splitter and there is still no ETA coming from my Chevy dealership parts center, who claims the manufacturer of the splitter is closed due to COVID.

Opened a case with GM customer care. They are being helpful, but it sounds like there may be some sort of exclusion in their ability if it’s not a mechanical repair in their service facilities. Crossing my fingers this isn’t the case, as that would be rather unacceptable to not assist owners who are struggling to source parts for this incredible car.

I'm coming up to a month since I ordered my splitter from GM. I pulled my damaged one off as it is currently being repaired at this time and I hope to have it back by next week sometime so I can drive my car (I left it up on my QJ and my underwing is off currently).

What blows is that I have to pay for my new splitter in advance so by the end of the month my Visa bill will be due so chances are good I'll be paying for the new part with it nowhere to be seen till it does come in.

Check with weaponX. I ordered both a gm one and a weapon x one and got my weapon x one 2 months before the gm one.

I just ordered the WX splitter endcaps/winglets so we'll see when these will show up. I plan to run these on my car instead of my GM ones (I'll run the GM ones on "special" occasions).

Amazing that I can buy a pair of these (they are CF if I'm not mistaken) for US$270 and GM wants like $800 each for these winglets...…………………*I'm shaking my head in amazement*

Unfortunately Weapon X doesn’t offer an OEM-sized splitter replica.

yeah unfortunately we live in canada and they can price gauge the living crap out of us with shopping/border duties/everything in between and still charge us more for their own profit.

you won't be disappointed with the weapon x splitter.

I'm not getting a WX splitter, just the winglets.
