Hey guys, been hovering around the group for awhile as I知 starting my search for a c7 ZR1 to add next to my c6 ZR1! I知 curious as to when you guys think is the best time to buy. Is right now the lowest it値l be or do you guys think the c8 zr1 will drop these prices? I know none of us know 100% as to what could happen but just trying to get others input as to what they think. Thanks guys 🫡

I have owned many Corvettes over the years. The best time of the year to buy a Corvette is in the fall.
Long term, prices for ZR1痴 will be determined by the demand from collectors, the rate of inflation and competition from newer model Corvette痴, none of which is predictable.
Buying at the bottom using market timing is very difficult in stocks, real estate and collector cars.
If you want to own a ZR1 for the fun of driving and owning one of the most iconic Corvette痴 ever, now is the time to buy.

I really don't think the release of the C8ZR1 will have any bearing C7ZR1 prices. They are totally different cars. There were those that claimed when the ZO6 came out that the C7ZR1 would tank in value. That didn't age well lol. If you find the right car for you, buy it! The 19 ZR1 was a fluke in that it was only built for one year and is the last and highest performance front engine Corvette. Lot of guys thought that these were going to be built in 2020 but that didn't happen so guys missed out. I would think that these will be highly collectable over time,

Demand/prices usually lowest in the winter. You never know when your good health is over, but you know your current financial situation. I would buy sooner rather than later as some are still under warranty and while you can get the parts and mechanics to make it perfect just in case. For under $200k its hard to find any car so much fun to drive and so capable.

ZR1 prices have come down a little, with everything else, but I don't see a major down movement. Keep in mind as the car ages it will be harder to find a mint, unmolested, original paint, one owner, low mile example. And good luck finding a manual.
