Thanks very much for the tip. They may be pre-sold inbounds but checking with them ASAP. I'm finding many of the systems pre-populate on invoice from GM. I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know.

Im surprised there arent more back outs with Covid, and loss of jobs etc. I'm looking for the same car you are I was debating calling some of the biggies to see if anyone backed out. I found 1 1LT base car in silver in VA. But who wants that? LOL Good luck to you boss, i'm not far from you in PA.

There are some cool car clubs in the Baltimore area. I look forward to us both soon finding one. Not many deals are falling through. I can tell you that the local big boys are not having many drop out.

You’ll find your car soon.. gm cranking out over 100 new ones every day. Combine that with lots of the country shutting down again, and the free handouts are starting to come to and end. More jobs will be lost and you’ll have your car real soon. I say a month or two at most to find one at MSRP.

I've been playing Don Quixote as I chase the elusive C8 at sticker like he did with windmills. There are a lot of fantastic dealers out there who are doing their best in a crazy market. They are also lacking other kinds of retail units (especially trucks and vans) and have suffered some thin months. There are also a small number of others who are playing games and misleading people.
The auction wholesale price on a 2LT right now is about $98k while the 3LT is $106K. If a dealer was allowed to run their CO units through the lane, that is what they would get. My big issue is with some dealerships advertising the car for less than what they are willing to accept.

I was told this is a mistake and some Dealers are linked to the GM system. I was picking up my C8 and it showed on their site car available. A Sales Manager told me what happens it's automatically posted when produced and its showing on some of their sites. I have seen C8's posted with discounts, called the dealer and they said its an error, and they are sold out. They say it's frustrating because it says the car is available plus at a discount when its a sold order and no discount. I am sure someone more familiar could explain the details, good luck hunting.
Just posted7/6/2020:
Let me fill you in on how this works since I am the Corvette specialist at a Chevrolet dealer. GM has a third party company that uploads all the inventory to dealers website when the cars get invoiced. It doesn't matter if the car is a sold order or a stock unit. They also price it and the dealer has to go into their website and change the prices. I have seen a few C8's showing in dealer inventory with these $5,000 off prices they are wrong. Now try to explain to the customer who ordered that car that you didn't price it and it's GM web vendor who did?
