Coming back to the GM performance family after having a 1999 Formula Hardtop for almost 20 years. Tried like hell to get on at Ciocca for a Z06, but that turned into a fiasco as I spent time trying to organize a plan. Well I was going to be 5,xxx in line so NOPE! Got in touch with Stingray Corvette in Plant City, FL and they had @165 E-Ray deposits at that time. So I figured what the hell, I will never be able to get the Z06 level performance out of that car IF I could get my hands on one. So we will see what the E-Ray, Grand Sport, whatever will be. First Corvette too.

Good for you! I'm on Furman's list. Not sure if/when I'll ever get pulled for an allocation before the C9 rolls around, but here's to hoping!

Yes on MSRP, and $500 gets you a reservation.

You made the right choice. Not only will you get your eray faster then most z06 buyers, but you would have a faster, better handling car that gets better mpg and saves the world. Hell and might be cheaper too.. its a win win. (except for the eargasms) The question is how long will GM wait to announce it.. so I sit and wait.. and wait..

Might be sooner than some, for sure sooner than my Z06 reservation, and possibly faster in SOME instances. I am sure the Z06 will be a fair bit faster on a track.....which I personally cannot accomplish with my minimal "real" driving skills LMAO. For sure should be less money.
