Any dealers taking deposits on E-Ray yet?
Besides Les Stanford, Any dealers taking deposits on E-Ray yet? Anyone on a list? I know another thread has some on list for future variants, but I specifically am interested in the E-ray.

The variant list at Sting Ray Chevy works so that when the E-Ray or any other model is announced you are contacted and asked if you want to leave the variant list and move to the E-Ray or other model list. So, you will not know your number on the E-Ray list until the E-Ray is announced. Get on the list as the date you sign-up is what determines your place on the list. Having said that, there were 216 people on the variant list at the end of last month. The variant list does not include people on the Z06 list as they are on the Z06 list.

I have an order in at Bowman Chevy in Clarkston, MI. They are not a high volume dealer of course.. but I think I'm #3 on the list. They might be up to 5 now. Sam Mona is the Vette guy there. They are charging MSRP and deposit isn't being collected until the GM officially releases the info on the car.. then it's 100% refundable if you decide to cancel.

I am on a list (no deposit) for an eray. It started as a Grand Sport list.... but I digress.......
It seems to me a pretty dicey for a dealer to take a deposit on a product that has not been announced yet.

Anyone guess as to how many ERay will be build annually? How will they decide the production number?
The estimated number of ERay is around 1/7 as compare to the Z06 from my local dealer. Depending on the production, the ERay order could be filled in 1-2 years at the current rate? ERay owners will be cruising long before 60% of the Z06 order be fulfilled? Is that possible? Maybe depending on how quickly they can get the related hybrid components?

Surprised there were that many GS sold in the last year of production. I know this is not an accurate predictions for the up coming Z and ERay because of the huge popularity of the Z06. Will GM divide their production evenly between these 2 variants assuming parts are readily available?

I just checked, the Z06 list is the only one closed.
Stingray, and Future Variant lists are still selectable.
