So Where Does The E Ray Fit In?
Since it’s supposed to have 700+ horsepower? Above the Z06?

I have heard 600 different then the z06 slightly less hp but awd and more torque downlow then the Z. then above the z06 will be the zr1 and the Zora

That's BS. Hasn't changed much since there was a detailed leaked article with data November 2019. Pic below from leaked article and I added the published specs.
Recently reinforced by Don Sherman and excellent automotive writer (engineer and car racer and GM insider) in SAE International mag. Don added it's two electric motors back to back at ~50 hp each. Makes sense, then the electronics can control power to each front wheel separately when accelerating out of an apex etc.
It's a "performance hybrid" with a short time, small battery, similar to some Ferraris! Recharges when braking.

The E-Ray is replacing the Grand Sport. It will have an Lt 2 with about 100 more ponies from the 2 motors up front with a wide body. So about 600 HP with a ton of torque from down low. No way would GM give it more power then a Z. As mentioned above that will be the ZR1 and possibly the Zora's job !

That article seems as bad as gm authority. Provides no sources for said information, shows pictures of Z06 test mules and labels them E-Ray. Hey but if you want to cruise around at 25-30 mph it’ll supposedly be all electric
Additionally, from several members of the Corvette team themselves, including Tadge, “the Z06 has a unique front & rear fascia for the first time in its history…” To me that indicated the ERay will not share the same body as the Z06.
And if it is awd, why does it need such wide tires? the 630 hp awd Huracan has the same 245/305 size tires front & rear as the Stingray.

Yes, a Porsche magazine is definitely the inside source for information about future models.
But the answer to your question is that right now, no one here knows what the E-Ray will sell for nor what the specs will be. Anyone who knows is under NDA and not talking, and anyone who is talking doesn't really know.

I never was a fan of a heavier electric, but If it can turn a sub 10 second 1/4 mile at the expense of lap times on tracks
I'll never drive on then I'm a buyer!
Wouldn't care if it was partially powered by hamsters on a wheel!

The Z06 is a more raw car oriented for the track.
The E-Ray have less NVH and is targeted for the street.

UPDATE 2/21/22: The Wall Street Journal has spoken with a spokesperson for the salvage crew working on the burning cargo ship, who confirmed that "part of the fire is the batteries [in electric vehicles on board] that are still burning." The paper said that according to Portuguese navy officials and salvage workers who have seen a cargo manifest, "it is clear that many of the cars on board are electric vehicles." The fire, which started on Wednesday, has continued to burn into the weekend.

First weight, the ~1500 lb F1 race cars have been "performance hybrids" since 2014. They use a ~40lb battery to produce extra 200+ short duration electric hp. They have doubled their overall gasoline efficiency so they no longer allow refueling! On the same tracks where much larger cid prior engines were refueled several times they are besting race times on some old tracks. Yep twisting ~900+ total hp out of a combo electric with 1.6 Liter ICE is very impressive.
A Ferrari "performance hybrid" (they have several) can use it's electric powered FWD to accelerate out of an apex sooner and quicker than just rear wheel drive. Yep the added FWD E-Ray brings hp AND traction! A battery the size listed in the leaked specs in November 2019 (1.92 kWh) can weigh less than 60 lbs. Yep the motors and electronics add weight but it won't be only a straight line car!
We don't know for sure just what the car will be BUT Don Sherman, an excellent automotive writer (who is also an engineer, race car driver and GM insider) in an article in a credible magazine, SAE International, validated much of the original leaked info. He added it will be two ~50 hp eclectic motors mounted back to back as in that original 2019 leaked pic.
We'll soon see.

Hmm, guess you have not followed what a "Performance Hybrid" can do accelerating out of an apex?
