[QUOTE=badboy01;1606225567]i am asking about trim.[/QUOTE. Not too sure about that as on chevy build site there is no black trim option. Also the feature of color matching trim is mentioned for the ERay.

If you have watched some of the videos from the Peterson at launch, they (GM design team members/engineers) clearly stated Carbon Flash trim would be an option. How costly? No idea but would assume close to the same as going body color on the Stingray ($995)

If it is indeed $995 I would pay it in an instant. I like the contrasting look.

As usual, Chevy gives a limited blah choice of rims on new model car. Yet, the Z06 has several nice options which are the same size rims. I guess they want to support the aftermarket suppliers or just don't want their new car looking cool.

1) Body color paint (especially tint coats) is hard to match without going to a body shop.
2) You can get carbon flash vinyl ALL DAY LONG, and for a lot less cost than $995
3) It is a trivial task to wrap the boomerang pieces in that vinyl.
4) If you change your mind, you can just peel it off.
I will go with the cheaper body color this time around.
