It's got the same LT2 as the Stingray and the electric motor should give it slightly better economy. There isn't an EPA rating for it yet, but the SR doesn't have a guzzler tax, so the Eray shouldn't either.

While it would be hilarious if the EPA applied a gas guzzler tax to a hybrid vehicle, I don't think it will happen. Of course the god of ICE vehicles may have a sense of humor and convince the EPA that these evil machines are using their hybrid capabilities to only go faster and slap a tax on them just for making a proper hybrid vehicle. Then we can only hope that some owner of an E-Ray with way more patience than me will drive their E-Ray for a 1000 miles in stealth mode and sue the EPA for the pain and suffering experienced while not using their car properly.

Or they will have to redesign and add batteries in the frunk with plug in option??
