Spinning in place like this can only really be done with AWD.
The rest of the video breaks down what went into pulling off this stunt.

No way I'd do that with my E-Ray. then in NE SC we don't have snow. Think we has a few inches 3 years ago!

I went to the NASCAR website and found this video: "Donut Day the NASCAR way Celebrate National Donut Day NASCAR style with a montage of some of the best donuts NASCAR has to offer."
I like NASCAR, but none of them came even close to a Cyclone. Two different things.

Suggest doing either even on ICE is not the best for the car!
There was an early video by a fellow who supposedly had some inside GM info that suggested doing NASCAR type Donuts is a reason GM recommend the two extra quarts of DCT fluid. Doubt that was accurate. You can watch a NASCAR Donut being done in the town next to mine (Darlington) at the end of the today's race. Some drivers can make it look like what I saw!

Don't get arrested for doing a 'sideshow'. Even on ice.

I have to say that I'm a bit surprised by the response here, as I thought this would be something more people would like to see.
I appreciate your concern.
I have an almost perfect place to video myself doing cyclones in a wide-open parking lot, but it's at a gun store, and I know for a fact that they film everything that happens outside their building. Probably not a good idea to do it there, but since there seems to be little interest in it anyway, I'll focus my efforts on showing other aspects of the outstanding new ERay!
(At least it looks to me like it will be a great addition to the Corvette line-up... a very unique and high-tech version of the car we all love.)

The gun store shouldn’t mind as it will free advertisement if the name is shown. Good luck I can’t wait for the video 😎
