MPG question from the "cheap-seats"
I'm seeing all sorts of OMG posts of handling and power.
I'm seeing all sorts of "what kind of wheels" posts.
Has anyone done a distance test to almost the point of flame-out?
How far can these things actually go?
I'm thinking of trip-distance.

The hybrid is for performance, not for MPG - unless you mean just plain old how long can it run on battery?

If you are not going to use the "extra battery power" the mpg will be about the same as a standard Stingray! That is what GM, the EPA info and my ~650 miles show! Now if you bought it for more power and as I do use it, it gets ~25% better mpg about the same hp from just an ICE engine. Compare the C8 Z06,
C8 Z06 EPA MPG City = 12 mpg; Highway = 21 mpg: AVERAGE = 15 mpg
E-Ray EPA MPG City = 16 mpg; Highway = 24 mpg: AVERAGE = 19 mpg
C8 Z51 EPA MPG City = 16 mpg; Highway = 24 mpg: AVERAGE = 19 mpg
Now if you use the power you get the best 0 to 60 mph!
