You need substantial control of the engine and transmission otherwise the car is just a ticking time bomb with FI. These guys aren’t there yet.

We are very close to having full control over the engine. We are still waiting for our new clutch setup to be finished so we can start throwing more boost at it for well over 4 digit RWHP numbers. Waiting for the materials for the DCT is driving us nuts! HAHA

I've heard there is progress being made on the engine but that the communication bus is encrypted so it can't talk to other modules. Also, the DCT is still locked out and Tremec is being forced by GM not to let the info out.

Well Alfa is using the same dct in an upcoming model so that may be the way around it

while the tranny tuning is still a huge challenge, beefing it up with hard parts is certainly a step in the right direction

excited to see realistic tt c8s being built GM needs to push that along and support rather than thwart the effort

have a warrenty waiver and sell more engines and cars and support those that want to push the limits of the platform

the LT2 is a very strong engine and beefing up the tremec will allow it to survive driven with a well educated foot

I'm hearing about the "performance subscription" where gm may open up higher performing variant tunes that you can get for the c8

like the testla model, you would unlock a tune that gives more HP Love to see them do it!!!

so my question is this, on an ecm with the wideband 02, if another standalone ecm and decicated injectors add fuel won't the ecm still see the fuel trims go out of whack and code???

regardless, without a beefier dct clutch I believe about 100 ponies will be about it without beefing up the clutch basket. Curious about the rest of the box and how much it will take.

I saw an article about McLeod frictions for $650 and holding 1000 HP. I saw it listed, then I went a few days ago and nothing. Is it back.

What is the difference between the $8000 Donaldson clutch and the McLeod package?
