Opening up a thread for those with deposits on the new Callaway C8 package. More details should be coming out by the end of the year -- price, power, options, tuning, etc. As there are already Callaway vs Z06 threads, please don't turn this into another one. Both can be had (eventually), so not really a "one or the other" scenario. I own a '21 Z51, so am excited to do the Callaway package, with proprietary install, warranty and tuning via GM blessing. Anyone else have deposits down? The email updates have been great -- looking forward to learning more. Cheers.
I'm really interested in the options and how they offer the package. Wondering about low/high boost options, etc. I already have an exhaust I am happy with as well as wheels and tires. I don't prefer the center exhaust on their prototype and feel confident in suspension and braking as is. Seems like we should get answers to most of this by the end of the year.
I have been in for the SC since August. Finally got the car as well !
Your car looks great!
You just have the appearance package for now, correct? How much is the double D exhaust?
I have a question about the Callaway process. My understanding is that after the car is built, it will be shipped directly to Callaway. Callaway then does the build. After Callaway finishes with the car, does the car get shipped to the selling dealer, or can I have it shipped from Callaway directly to me?
Thanks . This is the 35th anniversary package so i do not know how much the exhaust would be broken out . My car went back to Ciocca in Atlantic city after it was completed but there was an option for pick up in CT as well as delivery. for the SC im pretty sure it will be a direct transaction thru Callaway .

If you have a genuine interest in Callaway Corvettes, this might be something for you to see...
In conjunction with The Callaway Owners Group, the Callaway Cars 35th Anniv. display at the National Corvette Museum is all set now, with the final car arriving this week
The Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette is now in-place, for everyone to see. Check it out, as this thing is legendary, with this Callaway Corvette being the one which not only hit 254.76 mph back in Oct. 1988, but was driven from Old Lyme, CT to the TRC in Ohio, then back
Check it, and the other 10 Callaway Corvettes on display out...
My car is the blue prototype that was displayed at Carlisle. It has been a long process getting to this point and it's exciting to see it finally coming to fruition! Even though everything will be based on my car, I have no more insight into the final product than any of you.
My intent is to add the Callaway high wing, DD exhaust, ground effects, suspension lowering and any brake upgrades or carbon fiber engine bay appearance packages they might offer.
Just received Update 003 from Callaway. I responded that I prefer an ala carte scenario as I already have exhaust, wheels/tires, suspension, etc. I do like their rear spoiler as it seems much more organically integrated than the oem. Very excited about the level of fit and finish and the close partnership with GM to be sure the system is engineered to the very highest levels of quality.
Also, it's great to know that GM provides their CAD data on the engine to Callaway so they can more easily design and fit components, accessories, hoses, etc.
Callaway notes their supercharger basic package includes “Clear Engine Compartment Screen for Convertibles.” Looks like we’ll finally be able to see the engine on convertibles - and have the clear cover and headliner under warranty.
Great update with exciting news for HTC owners. I replied Alacarte as well. I really want to go with a titanium exhaust to help get the weight down of the HTC and soon to be SC parts. I wouldn’t want to be forced into additional parts of theirs increasing the cost either. Hopefully they will be offering appearance upgrades for the engine components.
