Default Nitrous setups

Now that we can tune the ecms.. etc, is there anybody running over 100 shot? I saw the Dodson clutch pack but McLeod makes the kit for way cheaper to help the tranny although I heard there is some patch hp tuners is about to release that could alleviate the need for that all together!

ps… if you don’t run nitrous or haven’t ran nitrous please stay off this post with all the negative nonsense I’ve ran nitrous previously and if installed safe it’s just fine!

Here let me start off with where I am at with all this. After spending about $1500 I think I have everything I need but time. I will try to break this down into bullet points to help. I am not done and need to complete the wiring and deciding how I want to address that.
  • I mounted my bottle up front. Putting a blow down tube should be easy. I can still get a couple grocery bags or a duffle bag up there.
  • Solenoids are mounted and NX kit looks amazing
  • Bought the NX panel for center console. Fits perfect. Will include window switch and throttle controller in there as well.
  • For wiring I ordered 20' of 18g, 9 wire AWG. Its used in car audio to set up a 4 ch amp. I wont need all wires but if I ever want to add anything in the rear from the cab I will have some wires
  • Also ordered 1/2" braided cable sleeving to better protect the wire and it looks nice
  • My challenge- WIRING- Research, getting wire from cab to engine bay sucks. Best bet is to go behind driver seat in the corner. Requires removing some interior panels. rear wheel, etc.
  • Accessing ECU- For 2020-2022 yours is located behind the tunnel plate. 2023+ its in the rear bumper on pass side.
  • Here are the 2 pins I believe you need for the Window switch Tachometer – J4 connector – Pin 29 at ECM, TPS – J1 connector – Pin 39 at ECM
  • Do yourself a favor and get a catch can if you spray.
  • I hope I didnt **** on your thread. I am just sharing what little knowledge I have gained as of now. Here are a few useless pictures. I hope to finish the install this year. LOL

For me no. Same spot. I simply have not had time to make progress.
