hey guys I’m wanting to add a 50-75 shot on my Eray with out tuning. I’ve seen this done quite a bit on stringrays before tuning was available. Would I run dry or wet kit? And what brand kit do you guys recommend? Thanks

I have not yet started to look but just my 2 cents is you want a wet kit , 50-75 is a nice kinda safe hit IF you follow the safeties .......NOS is pretty popular ,i used TNT years ago in my c5/c6 and it needed no tuning . Colder normal spark plugs with a smaller gap ,ignition system must be very good [coils/wires etc] , WOT switch, window [rpm] switch , all the car nannies must not interfere with WOT , bottle temperature /psi/pick up tube [very important] , purge is not always needed .....start reading up on it . I do know what effect the AWD will have on it use care on the street because of traction too .......who is beating you up that you need a shot of giggle gas to beat them ?
I ran nitrous on one of my C5's and now have a kit 80% installed on the C8. I started it 2 years ago and just never finished lol. Solenoids and plate are installed and the fuel side is done. Bottle sits in the frunk. I need to run the nitrous line from the front to the back and then the electronics. To prevent spraying through shifts as mentioned get a window switch. You tap the ECU and it reads RPM's so you can trigger it whenever you like. My plan is to lock out first and the spray around 3500-5500rpm. I am guessing I need to actually get on a stretch of road, floor the car and pay attention to when it shifts naturally. I will likely just tape my cell to my chest or some **** and watch a video. I just came up with that. LOL Not much for nitrous folks in the C8 section which is odd.

I have not needed the extra power yet on my 25 e ....yet and then there is the thing about a 72 year old guy crawling around and working to install it back there plus where the heck can i put the NOS tank on a florida driven car in these tempertures
LOL I am 50 and did my headers last year and complained the whole time. I swapped the motor in my C7 2 years ago and was OK with it. I feel like I hit 50 and got lazy. LOL I am in Northern California and it gets pretty warm during the summers. I had a full nitrous bottle in my frunk all last year with no issues. I would have this kit complete, but my ECU/PCM is in the rear behind the bumper and I dont feel like removing the bumper again. I did that the day my car came home to install my high wing and catback.
