I still don’t think it’s going to happen. GM is going to figure out one of their departing employees made a huge pricing error. Hilarity will not ensue when they send all the test mules to OmniSource, and give us a warmed over C7 with a different spoiler. The blue C8 tour car will end up at NCM with an altar to place flowers and a urinal mat to catch the tears.

It is interesting looking at old posts and all of the speculation. I was one of the believers that a mid engine C7 variant would make a nice halo car for GM, but once the first shots of the camo'd test cars at the 'Ring showed up I fell into the C8 is for real going to be mid engine camp.

Lots of fun speculation all around, the reality did not disappoint.

Had:
1) Polished Aluminum on my '88 Red Vette and 40th Anniversary Ruby '93 Vette
2) Gray Wheels on my Yellow C6,
3) Black on my Crystal Red 2014 Z51
4) Currently Machined Faced Aluminum on my Grand Sport.

Like them all! Now which to get for my Long Beach Red Metallic Z51 C8??
Will be looking for pics, hopefully with the different options on a Long Beach Red C8 before my 'Number Comes Up' to order!

Upper C8 pic is Spectra Gray Machined Trident Spoke may be better.
Lower C8 pic is Ultra Brite Trident Spoke.
Like the gray behind my current machined faced aluminum on my Grand Sport so leaning to The Spectra Gray Machined Trident Spoke

Will be looking for good pics of both on Long Beach Red C8!
