Mid engine C8 will have a Wankel motor
gm Is retooling the corvette plant for a wankel motor in the mid engine corvette. It will have one huge rotor mounted sideways for improved handling in the mid engine design. It will be mounted to a one speed cvt transmission. Tail lights will be shaped like spinning wankel rotors.
