Berra GM' s CEO is looking at ROI. If they don't sell to at least the break even point, the mid engine Corvette may be short lived.

Right, name the car after Henry Ford's late son (a very classy guy who probably would have hated the car). No one outside the company would have had any idea.

Epic fail!

Actually, Ford did a LOT of market research before introducing the Edsel. It just turned out that they either asked the wrong questions, asked the wrong people, or misinterpreted the data they collected. They fully expected the car to be well-received and were quite surprised when it wasn't. The take-away of all this for business courses it that market research can be a valuable tool for considering the introduction of a new product - but there are no guarantees.

What do you think about the name Zora?

I would just keep it simple - C8 - Let the car speak for itself. Assuming it's good enough to do that.

Hate the rear lights on the new Mid-engine, they should be round and six of them.

No one really wanted this latest and greatest creation and the car was doomed from the start, the name Edsel didn't help. Will history repeat with the mid-engine Corvette? (Sources say that the current C7 will be built alongside the mid-engine early in the program). Seems GM isn't sure!
I have one word... Aztek !

It still happens today.. and the syndrome is the "Emperor has no clothes" Happened to VW with Dieselgate as well...
When you get the wrong psychopath in charge, you get bad things... the right psycho can work wonders... Steve Jobs for example.
you can interchange the word psychopath with *******. Same difference

Outside of the forum the name Zora probably does not mean anything. Would not be my first choice of names for a new car model.

BTW, GM is not required to use the name "Zora."
