Thanx...best pic yet.
Glad to see GM FINALLY took the time to throw us a bone.

That does look like a "near" production model, instead of a cobbled up mule.
Only thing I see of "possible" styling clues is a C7 with it's cockpit moved forward about 10-12" and the scoop in the doors/quarter panel as shown in the pics of the guys trying to cover the car up, that has been posted before. What I don't see is "non-Corvette" styling that could be a Cadillac mid engine model. I was positive that GM would introduce a Cadillac mid engine model first but I'm beginning to believe that was an incorrect assumption on my part.
I don't see any "revolutionary" styling hidden under the vinyl covers.

This car appears to have that long gap from the door jamb to the rear wheel, like the original NSX. This makes for more interior room and is a concession to practicality, but makes the car look at bit strange from the side. The rear wheel should be closer to the door to look "right".

Doesn't look, to me, as it has a targa top.

In that top pick you can see the other prototype(s) of course but on the right there seems to be their front corner of a Porsche 911. They’re definitely not targeting Ferrari, McLaren, or Lamborghini if that’s the case. The quarter panels looks very similar to a 720s or 458. The back seems a bit too high and the hood a bit too confused. The front bumper almost looks like the ZR1 prototypes. The rear bumper screams Lamborghini to me. There’s a lot of space between the bumper and rear window though, sorta like a 675LT. If the air intake is on the ouside of the door like that, I will be very disappointed. The 720s and NSX have an amazing and more aesthetically pleasing way of getting air to the engine. If they’re benchmarking a 911, I wonder what the engine options will be.

.
I bet GM knocks the cover off the ball once the car is revealed.
I am ready as long as price does not exceed 200k and it has 650 hp and a DCT trans.
Those that think it going to be under 100k for the top of line model are dreaming. I willing to bet the C7ZR1 will be priced at 120k plus and we'll optioned closer to 150k

I'll bet its under $80K for the base model. It makes NO sense to build these in Bowling Green or even IN HOUSE unless they plan to sell 10,000+ a year. NOBODY had ever sold 10,000 $100K+ sports cars a year in the history of the world, (although Porsche has come close).
GM is in the business of making money, unlike Ford which invested in a Halo car built out of house in Canada. (1000 hand-built Ford GT prototypes which will probably cost considerably more than their $500K price tag each to make.). The business case for any GM car doesn't close if the price gets too high.

The Wheels
Look closely at the wheels. Looks likely attached a five spoke rim onto the actual wheels underneath to partially camouflage the actual wheel. Actual looks the open spoke wheels of the higher performance models , (C5 Z06, C6 Z06, etc).

I think that is the actual wheel, 5 spoke included, and they are fugly IMO
