Very cool. Not sure it looks mid engine? Maybe a Ferrari? Where was it seen? What ever it is it going to be bad *** car! The round rear lights kind look Corvette ish. I guess it could be something from Chevy no one saw coming?

I agree my 1st thought was a Ferrari 812 Superfast.
and no its a front mid engine v12 car not a rear mid.

We could only hope GM produces something as gorgeous as this 812 Superfast!!

As soon as I saw it I was certain it was a F car. Very interesting though.

It looks like some kind of weird wrap on the 812.
I have no idea what it's supposed to represent (snakeskin?).
There is no reason for Ferrari to be running camoed cars in this country.

The new 812 Superfast was the first thing I thought also. It was debuted on May 24 in Japan and I saw it at this years Pebble Beach Concour D'Elegance 70th Anniversary Ferrari display on the 1st fairway of the golf course during the Sunday show. Somebody now has a car out East and has wrapped it with that horrific wrap that ruins the shape of the car. What a waste of money on such a beautiful car. I'm a Class Host at the Concour and I had to come in early Saturday before the Sunday show to place the cars on the lawn. I was lucky this year to host the "One Of A Kind Speciale's" class which was the featured Marque of the entire show. If anyone here is interested in attending this show, PM me and I can give you a short list of the top shows to see. The entire week is filled up with various shows and events that really is a bucket list for car enthusiasts. Here's a video just on the Ferrari display.

Thanx for the video.
There are cars...and then there are Ferraris.

GM could produce something like this BUT you know they [B]won't.

Hyundai has lured two BMW performance guys to do work on their premium Genesis brand. How about GM luring a few Ferrari designers
to do a Corvette design. Nah, GM won't do that either.

imagine:a Ferrari inspired design + perfect paint job+really good QC.
well get that image out of your mind!

The very fact you thought it could be a future corvette is progress I suppose for GM

Actually it is Manfred Fitzgerald and Luc Donckerwolke that are now running Genesis Design. I met Manfred back in Santa Agata, Italy when touring through the Lamborghini Factory. I also talked to him at the Pebble Beach Concour last August. Neither of them have worked for BMW as far as I know. Manfred was at Audi, then was moved to Lambo when VW picked up Lambo. Luc was at Lambo as well. Don'y worry about GM design as the Corvette Design team is incredible. They are well respected by all of the above. In fact most of these designers are always moving around to different companies. I am worried about Lambo though as Mitja Borkner, a designer from Porsche has now taken over Head of Design at Lambo. We all know how pathetic the Porsche Design department is. Just look at the Panamera. Gawd awful.

Don't like it, I'm glad its not the ME. Not a fan of the way the venting is in the rear. Not a timeless look IMO

can't be a corvette; it has those ugly, outdated, has been, cheap looking, yesterday's news, round tail lights on it.

wait, it's on a brand newly styled 2018 812 superfast 6.5l 789 hp 210mph $400k+ (with options) v12 ferrari. guess their stylists don't have any taste!

This is a Ferrari in the photo. It is not an 812 Superfast. I just attended an invitation velvet only revel of the 812 Superfast tonight at Tampa Bay Ferrari. I am sure there will be photos on their Web site by the weekend of the car .

There have been no deliveries of the 812 Superfast to a customer in the states as of now. I was told 1st delivers won't be until spring of 2018.

The revel 812 SF was triple yellow. Positively stunning car inside and out. Also the 6.5 liter V12 sounds amazing.

I agree the photo of that camouflage car is a Ferrari but it's either not a SuperFast or it a Ferrari owned vehicle.

If you guys have time check it out on Tampa Bay Ferrari website. They had professional photographers and I am sure there some great photo to be posted on their website.

I am pumped as I take delivery of a 2014 458 Black with red guts 1 owner car with 2800 miles on Friday. 1st owner just took delivery of a 18 488 GTB also a gorgeous .

It matches my 16 Callaway SC757 also black with red guts.

I still.have room for the Mid engine Vett I just hope it not still 2 year out before delivery. Really hoping late 18 delivery but from the folks on the forum that seem to be in the know seem to this no revel until Detroit in Jan of 19. DebRedZ and Jamaja. Seem very sure and both sound to be well connected.

I hope GM get it out before late 19. I have to think with it coming it's going to kill C7 sales. Plus all of us C7 owner get ready to take a big hit in value.

just like the C6 guys did when C7 hit the show room. UGG!

it looks like a superfast to me, and it also looks like it has a manufacturer's plate on it, so your caveat of it being ferrari owned is most likely.

Its definitely an 812 Superfast. That car has been finished testing for awhile. However, Ferrari has been rumored to be testing a hybrid variant of that vehicle lately and might have it over in the states for whatever reason.
