Default ACS speculating the C8

Here’s the ACS Composite C8 Corvette speculation our design team made based on some of the spy shots floating around. No ACS Composite ground effects kit on it...yet 😏How do you think we did? Anything you add to it? Happy weekend!

Probably closer to reality then anything else we've seen.

Looking good. Minor suggestion, use instead of the C7 emblem, the one suggested by CRABBYJ, as follows. It is a natural, progressive evolution of the C6 emblem to the C7 emblem to the next generation.

Also makes the car look faster.

Nice render but we know for certain those front headlight are not correct. The pics below seem to prove you are looking at the actual front fenders (see cut outs for lights). The cut outs are at the sides of the fenders. Therefore, the lights will wrap around the sides of the fenders. Also the side door air intake design does not look like the test mule cars driving around. MikeG37s rendering below looks more accurate.

I thought a C7 ZO7 lookeg good from the rear... this rendering should be flagged for sexual content. Just gorgeous and badass at the same time. If the final product looked just like this, Ferrari and Lamborghini would be put on notice. And of course, this car would obliterate Italian supercars on Track.

Yours' is better than a lot of the other ones I've seen. Is it just me or do the test mules look like the body of the car sits to high over the tires, like they have it in lift mode for clearance or something.

the front and rear are real. the side is either like yours or like mikeg37's.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...render-18.html (post 342)

if it's like yours, i'll pass. if it's like his, i'll start cracking open the coin jars.

i hope gm hasn't blown this opportunity. they need to understand that 2 out of 3 views of the car doesn't cut it. it has to be 3 out of 3, especially on a car as important as this one.

This is the best overall rendering yet. I think the rear view is very accurate and follows the CAD drawings (which are obviously real) more closely than any others I’ve seen. But I also agree that the front fenders depart somewhat from the photos of the apparent actual fenders and the CAD drawings of same shown in the post above. Also, the front headlights don’t quite match the CAD shots of those lights.

If you can make those adjustments, plus more closely follow the actual mule photos and CAD drawings of the lower side body panels in front of the rear tires (to show the sharp in-and-out angular downforce feature), I think the car mags could post your work on their front covers with some confidence!

Overall I think yours is close. But the aperture panel on the rendered care does not look like the below spy shot.

Like others have said, I think this is most accurate and best looking rendering yet.

I also tend to agree on the headlights and side inlet being "open for further design debate".

Overall, nice work though.

Nice drawing. I hope the real C8 is better looking than this.

I like it. Aside from aforementioned headlamps, the front looks to be accurate. This is a cleaner design compared to some other renders. Looks more like what GM would do.

That is a good point, made a change to the side view.

I don't know, kinda looks like it was squeezed out of a first time mom.

Im genuinely concerned that the mid engine will not blow me away in looks. I know this happens before each reveal but so far just not feeling these renders 🙁.
