Torch red
Black interior
Machined gun metal gray wheels with red calipers
LT1
DCT
Basically stock except for one thing. I'm really hoping for a convertible top. It can be either black cloth or body color fiberglass, just so long as it folds down into a flat topped deck lid like the previous 4 generations.

5 years old with a bit of road rash by the time I get one. Gotta live through a C7 first; hope you guys are babying the heck out of yours for when I buy one!
Silver or white with red interior, I hope...

For the sake of this discussion, lets assume that you can order a C8 with the same colors/trims that are currently available for the C7s.
What's yours going to look like? I plan to order one so I can get exactly what I want. Here's a list of my major options:
Torch Red
Kalahari interior
Manual (if offered)
LT2
Polished Chrome Rims
Sport Seats (not planning to race, but I'm a minimalist when it comes to this)
Clear top option

Convertible for sure!!!
Torch Red unless there are some new outrageous colors.
Black Sport seats with red stiching; fairly traditional.
Manual first or DCT second.
Chrome rims unless they offer modern HRE style of rims, like what ONPOINT stated.
PDR, Carbon Fibre steering wheel; loud exhaust hopefully.

Anything but chrome wheels. How many mid engine sports cars do you see with those?

Exactly Binger, that there is no “right way” for how our Corvette should look.
I take that back, there is one right way on how a Corvette should look, and that is how its owner(s) wants it to look.

My choices are more along the "rule out" line of what I definitely do NOT want:
Any color except Torch Red. You just know that will lead to endless "Is that a Ferrari?" questions . . . not that that is a bad thing, it's just not my thing.
Any interior color except black. Don't like black interiors, and never did.
Any wheel finish except black. Makes your car look like a beater taxicab missing its hubcaps. Ugly, ugly, ugly.
Mechanically, I would prefer a manual if they offer it - which I don't think they will. I don't need 800 horsepower - but 650+ would be nice.
As far as options - load that sucker up. Over my 40+ years of Corvette ownership I have found that I actually do end up using all the bells and whistles once I've mastered them.
Looking forward to it.
