I know this thread will get no traction but these questions are also very important to me but ultimately low on most potential buyer's priority lists.
That said, even if GM blows it on these issues, it'll still be the best option that many of us can afford.

My biggest concern with the C8 is how big it may be... size and weight. If you drive a smaller sports car, it is far more enjoyable to me than a big one. Something the size of the Aventador has little interest to me. I'm really hoping the C8 is compact'ish. Weight can be somewhat disguised by HP, chassis and suspension... physical size cannot. Don't get me wrong, I'd like it to be lightweight too but if it's a large vehicle, that makes it even more difficult!!
A ME car doesn't need to be large or heavy (Porsche GT4, for example)... hopefully GM doesn't take the big car approach.
