The guy who posted it says it was from today. Looking at the older pics from when they were up there, the trees were all green, the one to the left is turning yellow for the fall. But I don't see that specific tree in the older pics.

I'm just saying, someone asked gm for more sightings, and like clockwork we get them.

Don't mean to sound ungrateful, but if these are indeed new pics... why keep the car "blanketed" now that the car has been photographed and videoed with the covers off?

But thanks anyway for sharing.

Who knows? The security policy for the car could just say "leave covered unless absolutely necessary for specific testing". It could even be as simple as these cars have really crude looking, not-even-close-to-production body panels under there. Sometimes the camo is as much to prevent people from seeing crude, unfinished parts as it is to prevent us from knowing how the car is styled.

I believe it’s high altitude cold weather testing. Check the weather for that area. Fits right in.

I completely approve of plenty of high altitude cold weather testing for reasons that are absolutely not selfish.

Damn, the car on the left with the cover and fake padding looks like my old 1996 Ram air Trans Am...😉

I've always thought the spoilers on the German cars were fake and not going to be on the production cars.

This has to be a prototype still. I see no equipment that would control the emissions. ;-)
