I say this as a Porsche fanatic: the real C8 is more beautiful than any sports car currently in production. That was my impression, at least. Maybe you'll agree once you've seen it.
So you are saying this render, which is hideous to me, is no where near what the real C8 will look like?

Do you know what to holes behind the scoop are for? I figured it may be for attaching a trim piece?

I note that in the CAD image ( bottom) the actual scoop opening does not reach the door bottom sill and shows the deep concave hollow under the door sweeping up as the render and Ring image show. The CAD also does not suggest a lower inlet for brake cooling but does show an upper fender top NACCA type intake similar to the C7. Any comments?

It's called 'boundary layer energizing' by the a bleed off at the second stage of the turbine. How the hell do I know? The camouflager dude has you fooled by adding a fake cover over the fake cover. Have you thought what you will do after the car is released? There won't be anything left to live for.

Car design is a mysterious art. You get 95% of it right and it sucks. Change a few proportions and lines by a centimeter here and there, and it's beautiful.

Opinions differ. I like the black A pillar and roof.

This one here?

Default Upon further review...

OK, I've read the thread, reviewed the pix and footage, saw the camo blow out and in in the 'ring footage, and think there might be somthing to this scoop nonsense. I took cues from the '56 Vette and am liking this.

The bottom of the scoop would naturally follow the crease near the bottom of the door. I lowered the top of my door triangle too. And being pedantic, I added a little ground reflection and a new color.

I like the way the fender top detail lands on the door but below that (and part of the door) flows into the air inlet.

For ***** and giggles can you show me the same without the triangular winglet on the door?
I still don't think that's going to be there and it's all just fake.

The triangular “winglet” is going to be right there on the door; we will be reaching up underneath part of it, putting our finger(s) on a pressure switch to open the door.

Wouldn't it be moulded as part of the skin?
Every pic we've seen has it sitting over top of the door skin like it's glued there.

This is something like what I was thinking.
Please don't mind my amateurish attempt especially at the shading.

Far from amateurish. I don't mind the image being modified as anyone wishes.

In this image we can see that the concave door feature terminates at mid-door and seems to be the shut off at the bottom of the scoop creating the ledge.

The very deep concave continues past the false scoop edge toward the back. IF the scoop continued down to the rocker, it would be shut off and very thin but "could" be similar to the C8R version creating a brake duck.... but there is nothing on the CAD to suggest this...but Zaro said it was an older CAD so...

Tighten the width of the rear fenders and push the inlet opening eight inches toward the rear of the car. It will only get prettier.

I've jokingly said that the back could in fact be a flat back a few times now... Either way there is a reason it is still hidden from our view.
