This thread has been amazing but equally makes me so much more eager for GM to just show the damn thing.
I just came across these images, and am not sure how old they are but if it ends up looking anything like your renderings and these renderings I will personally have no complaints.
Have you tried taking these images and applying your concepts of the lines and scoops to them? To create some other iterations?

Chaz, quick question. How much time do you estimate you've invested in all of your C8 renders? I'm talking total time, all in. I, and I'm sure lots of others on here, appreciate all the calories you've burned to make these. Cheers.

While I would love to get paid for doing this, I'd never get anywhere near my freelance rate.

I reckon I've got about 300 hours all in. That averages to about three hours every day over three months. And that's pretty accurate. Mind you, it is my hobby, and I do enjoy it.

I run a small company that has really struggled as of late and it is such a wonderful distraction to slip off to the forum every few hours for a release. I get even more excited when I see your name at the end of a thread because it is a given that we are going to get new visuals. I am such a nutcase that when the real C8 is finally shown I may feel depleted, like a kid when Christmas Day is winding down.
With all this said I am really dying for a new design clue like the actual back window or maybe the real rear fascia. If the world was perfect and I was lucky some generous benefactor would give us just a little glimpse of the side scoop!

Spent more than a couple hours tonight reading this entire thread and really enjoyed seeing the renders evolve. Thank you chazcron, for sharing your hard work with us.
