chazcron's 3D model work in progress

A suggestion? Remove the wing and tweek the side scoop. Your wonderful work is an educated guess, right? Then why not an uneducated guess and change the side scoop to something different. At minimum, it would be super exciting to see a different look on a model that seems so accurate.

This was an excellent request, my friend. This image was also the genesis of my scoop shape. I was shocked as to how close the position is on the CAD's scoop position. Not everything lines up perfectly, but my coke bottle indent is pretty close, too, though my top rocker panel is in black so it is hard to see the transition. Don't ask me to model this chassis. Oy.
Admittedly, since only I possess the model, I am predisposed to align things closer to how I want them to be. But you have to admit, sh**'s tight. Look at that rear fender top!
I know one person who won't agree. But he is on my ignore list. Try not to quote his posts. I don't care to see them.
Oh and convertible photo suggestions should show the whole car, preferably with the interior view as minimal as possible. "Artful" usually photos work the best.

For Elegant,
We've mostly seen the louvers low from the back, and it looks pretty straight, maybe a little curved at the edges. But from the side, there is definitely a curve to them. Here is a back shot showing they are mostly straight.

Nice job Chazcron.
I don’t want to sound like an insecure ex girlfriend ...
but...does it seem more special when you uncover this next corvette ,in comparison to the mustang and Camaro that you did?
Or is it business as usual to you?
Thanks.

Thank you for that explanation Chazcron. I now understand the issue of differing perspective.

Too bad I’m a coupe guy...This is going to be one smoking hot convertible, reminds me so much of the 1968 -1973 corvettes.
Nice job Chazcron.

Additionally, I used it as a jumping off point to learn an entirely new modeling program. And that’s huge. And the renders are so easy and so realistic. The delay in the reveal gives me an opportunity to really explore the car and a captive audience who mostly seem to appreciate it.

Hey fellers, you are forbidden to quote me in your responses to Chaz's posts. I live rent free inside his confused head. Since our friend has no understanding of the dynamics of a car, he places inner ducting mounts on the outer surface of the 1/4 panel because he doesn't understand CAD files. Don't let pretty pictures fool you. Do you understand what he is doing in this video? I see right through this phony? He leads you down his own garden path.

I've been critical of him as well, but constructively so. I'm not just trolling the guy and taunting him "derp, I live in his head rent-free" Shut the hell up with that type of crap.

Ya know here are a couple other preproduction renders Chaz has done. I'm not saying his render is what we will get or that he follows the CAD well, which could be fake for all we know, but he seems to get damn close. How about just enjoy it for what it is, the best we have so far!
