I'm a vert guy all the way and I'd like to hear your opinions.

There appears to be a potential spyder option that has been caught testing alongside the coupe. It would lead one to believe that there would be an option fairly soon, if not from the start.

It will take the Spyder for me to write the check. And a new powerplant, too.

I'm kinda curious about the differences of the spider vs. coupe versions since it appears that there will be the cowls behind the seats obstructing views unlike current convertible Corvettes that have no obstructions with the top down. I feel like it will have a look similar to the spyder versions of the Huracan, 570s, and 488. So with the coupe still having a removable roof, I wonder just how much more open the spyder really is.

There will be a 2020 ME HT convertible, but not as soon as coupes are produced.

Hard top vert will be a must buy for me, but convincing the wife to get anything other than pre-owned means I'll likely be waiting until 2021 for someone to trade one in.

The sooner the 'vert' comes out the better! I don't like to look backward because I don't think history has anything to do with how they will move forward with the C8's marketing, but I don't ever recall seeing a C7 'vert' being tested along with the coupe, as we've seen here with the C8. Are they moving the development along on a parallel path??? I certainly hope so.... Only time will tell.

Based on them being tested together I'm guessing they'll come out at the same time or in very close proximity. A HT convertible ME RWD is very appealing.
