Is $170,000 a smart price point for the new mid-engine C8? Absolutely. Here are a few reasons why.

Worst thread in the 20+ year history of CF.
The picture used is not even remotely accurate and is like 2+ years old, and a topic that is baseless from any real information we have. Throw on top its from a CF editor, and yes, this is the worst thread created in the history of CF.

Utter nonsense, and would be the end of Corvette. This so-called "rumor" started on CF by a clueless individual or troll (take your pick), was picked up from CF by multiple automotive bloggers, and has now come full circle back to the CF front page staff.
A $170K starting price has been debunked confidentially by numerous GM insiders. Officially, GM won't say anything because when this is proven to be blatantly false, the new car will be universally perceived as an unbelievable bargain. I am quite sure they're getting a very good laugh out of this story.

you "content editor" just PROVED all you care about is click bait! mission accomplished! Did the other idiotic unsubstantiated troll bait headline with nearly the same title run its course and now here you go again. This forum is becoming an embarrassment...
