Where is the surprise here? We've been saying this for months.

Is GMauthority.com an official GM website? Not that I'm doubting the report, I was just wondering. Their Order tracking forum thread does not seem to work.

GM Athority is not a GM web site, explicitedly saying that on their home page, i.e., they are not in any way affiliated with GM in any way.

Hope it looks better than some of those mule shots. Any car can go fast with a turbo but has to look fast also for many buyer's.

BTW, I also think Detroit will be a no-show for the C8.

GM Authority article is conjecture unless their source is referenced and deemed credible.

Jerradl1987, this is a tough crowd. When I saw that the story was from GMAuthority.com, I initially thought that it was just another speculative article since they are not directly connected with GM. However, the report you posted clearly states that they reached out to GM and were told there would be nothing new at the NAIAS from the Chevrolet car or crossover team. Thanks for the post!

As I recall none were of a taillight! IMO it was a marketing mistake to have the “covered IVERS” with round holes for taillights. That got those of us with Vettes having round lights, like my C6, to thinking that is what it would have.
When you finally saw the sharp lines of the C7, the tailights made sense. But the first reaction was “GM copied the Camaro,” they are just using the Corvette to promote the Camaro etc. Took months to have that go away. In fact some still wish it had round taillights, however foolish that would look!
Even good marketing folk, make mistakes!

Dude, you're googling the **** out of C8, C8 pictures, C8 release date, C8 et al and posting it. Then you have the audacity to get pissed when you get called out.
Tell you what, when YOU actually speak with a member of the C8 team and THAT PERSON gives you info., please post up. Otherwise deal with the responses.

What if the 2020 MY date has been changed/pushed back to 2021? Some people are going to be really disappointed.

Yawn, this is getting very old. Such folks need to grow up. If they were to show something now, then we'd have a herd whipped into hysteria about why it's not being produced right away.
Who the hell wants a rushed debut if GM is not ready to mass produce the car? The worst possible disaster would be new cars showing up at dealers with all kinds of issues.
