Yep, I didn't see that thread. Saw this first thing this morning and thought I'd share. Mods can delete this as a duplicate.
Yes Zerv02's sketch was pretty "spot on".

Great Thread cool to see what's coming for ME.
PS if this ISN'T the C8 and the ME car is just that... pretty genious marketing or lack thereof on GM's part.
make everyone think there will be no more 50 60 70k Corvette hoping to sell more of them quickly before the ME debut and then right after that we start to see the real C8 Mules hitting the street.
the conversation with someone I met from the Corvette team at Carlisle a couple years ago and I've talked to that person multiple times when asked
if in say 3 years I could still buy a front engine Corvette? Or am I stick with the ME car?
the answer wasn't know the answer was I can't say that..... very intereting.
makes me wonder if that is super top secret say a 2022 release or 2023 (70th anniversary). If you recall that's what had been posted several years ago when the talk of an ME car first came out. Both run side by side for several years before a C8... and the plant being configured in such a way as to be able to run a front engine and Mid Engine car at the same time isn't that a little telling?

GM continues to leak just enough information to keep us all keyed up. The speculation continues and will do so until the official reveal, whenever that may be. The recent guidance from GM on moving to more electrification of their vehicles would lead one to believe that there is a good chance the C8, be it a Chevy or a Cadillac or both is very likely to have some electrification. This all leads me to believe that it will be priced out of what I am willing to pay, at least for a new one. My biggest concern is that there won't be enough folks willing to shell out what it cost for a new one and sales will tank after the initial flurry of sales to those who just have to have the latest and greatest. Time will tell.
