Would not touch with a ten foot pole if looks that bulky. Front needs a Lexus grill dentist and side scoops needs to go on a slim diet. Who knows about the back don't look there.. The wheels look like staggered in reverse, Fugly.
Looks like it is driving backward just standing still.
Color so so, not my choice, looks faded.
Not to mention, part of the curved roof looks like 911

Sorry, not a fan. That looks bulky and uninteresting. I sure hope the real thing looks better than that.

Put those side scoops on a slimming diet and I’m starting to like it!

It certainly will not look like previous Corvettes but that is exactly the point. In fact, it’s best if many of our (baby boom) generation don’t like the design because it may (hopefully) mean it will appeal to Millennials. Like Harley Davidson the Corvette suffers from being identified with old people. The vast majority of Corvette owners are baby boomers anyone who attempts to claim otherwise is simply ignoring reality.
The Corvette brand can no longer depend on us to keep it afloat it must attract a new generation of buyer in order to survive. That part is clear, if the survival of the Corvette brand depends on the baby boom generation then the Corvette will surely die.
Here’s to the C8 being a success with the young generations for those who can’t afford a Ferrari.

Millennial here, looks badass! I agree it's one of the best renders to date. I also love the scoop, very distinguishing feature in the design. All they need to do is get the front bumper to look right, and offer a manual for me to be sold on it. From my experience on these forums, most of these old guys will never willingly leave their comfort zone but eventually come around.

Huge side scoops will attract small animals, imo. Yes, the front looks bulky unless it's meant for cargo space. I'd rather have a slim front though. It it comes out looking like a Ferrari, I'm all in.

Man I hate to say it as I love Corvette and have had many, this new one is looking like a bad dream in its camo.
It's all wrong for a vette first of all but I hope it gets better when revealed. It will sell but you won't see many on the roads.

The scoops look similar to this in my opinion, but obviously more conservative. The Ford GT is widely regarded as a very attractive car so I don't understand the issue.

Once again everyone cheats the look of the scoops because they just can't believe someone would design them that way.

I have had several Corvettes. Each model change has taken a little time to adjust to the changes and then you see a few on the road and the new models have become very appealing. This render is my favorite also. The side scoops are a little too big for my taste but overall the car looks good and I am confident that the actual car will be better looking. Then you get into the performance and some new interior improvements and many will be won over on the ME C8. It should turn out great.
