In defense of the OP, that was a different source (Jalopnick). I don't think the C&D write up has been posted before, I don't recall seeing that pic of the C8 being towed, but I could be wrong. But yes, it's the same event.

Yeah, sorry. The article was fresh so I just did a glance down the first page of thread titles without doing a search. This is probably why I don't do too much on here anymore. Too much negativity....

No big deal, they are test cars to see what works & what does not work in normal traffic conditions. Can't imagine its the first prototype or mule that ever got the hook. Only thing that surprised me was it did not get a flat bed ride.

My guess is they did not use a flatbed for fear the undercarriage and other goodies would be seen.

or they cant get it into neutral because the reason it would not start is due to a ignition security computer problem, where the car was refusing to start. Thus, the back wheels are in park.

GM factory tow truck

wonder how close to milford this happened?

did they send the lunch girl out to get coffee?

or are they letting any GM exec drive it?

Wonder if the tow truck driver had a close look under the cover?

Its a GM owned tow truck. There's a chance the driver may have already seen one unmasked.

Yeah, this is the least friendly forum I've been on. People can't wait to sharpshoot anything you post.
