Default Hood appearance from the drivers seat

This is one of my favorite design aspects of all corvettes in history: the hood sculpture from the drivers seat. From the craziness of the C3 to the subtle design of C4 and all those in between, it's really a fun aspect of the car. At this point it seems really hard to guess what it will be. At first glace it seems it might be somewhat undramatic. The C7 appeared to be this way in disguise mode as well, only to discover it was quite pronounced. Close examination of C8 pictures and line of sight reveals it may be far more interesting than it seems. Thoughts?

There may not be any hood appearance from the driver's seat at all due to the way the hood slopes down compared to past designs in FE cars.

Will likely not happen with no engine in front. I will have to learn how to park again.

I've sat in the new 2017 Ford GT, the Ferrari 488, the La Ferrari...they all have a interesting hood view. This has proven to me that just because it's mid- engine doesn't mean it's out of the question.

Just busting your *****, but don’t think anything between C3/4...lol, but I get what you mean. I like the raised cowl on the C7Z!

With the short front end and the slope of the hood the only thing you will be able to see to the front is the windshield frame and maybe the wipers.

The C3 had the best view ever.

That hood has some deep scallops. Looking at this picture, the pov from the driver makes me think they'll see something significant over the fenders.

I got an idea, wait until they hit the dealer’s lots then drive one and find out. Until then, it’s all just guesses.

Once I’m driving I don’t pay much attention to the shape of the hood. With no engine up front, I wonder how well it will do in a head on collision compared to a C7?

You likely will not see the hood at all. Similar to a tiny 4 cyl econobox. I do not like that fact but it is what it is.

We may need to mount an orange antennae at the very nose of the car so we can know where the front is..

Looking at all the pics, I think we'll see fender peaks similar to the Ferrari and new Ford GT,

Putting all this together along with a side by side C7/ME pic I came up with this C7/458 composite. The center C7 Hood middle bulge going away will make a hugely difference.

This is my guess.
