Starting to get mad around here!
Ok, I know it won't change anything, and likely will fall on deaf ears, ... but "I'm Starting to get Mad" around here, waiting to see this car! I mean, really??? At some point, .. excitement anticipation changes over to antagonistic frustration!!! This is just a bit much, .. GM

The car could have debuted in January and we’d still be waiting for them to be available to buy - this will be the shortest debut to driveway periods ever!

All I can say is the C8 better be stunning when released. W/ so many renders, some looking pretty good and other not so much, I've hit sensory overload. Kudos to GM for the Cammo, they have kept us guessing for quite a while. I only hope the unveil isn't met w/ stunned silence.

Safety Car
The worst kept secret.
It is strange, we had a lot of sightings leading right up to and shortly after the announcement, and now nothing - did they go back into hiding?
Come on GM it's June, throw us some bones....

Long Year? No, Great Year!!!
Jan, 2013 At C7 Reveal got to look at car and even open hatch!
June, 13 Bloomington Gold sat in C7s and even started one!
July, 13 Ordered car (from Rick Conti)
Oct, 13 Took delivery and finally got to drive a C7 (mine!)
All of this seemed to take forever at the time. Seemed like a long year (well, 9-10 months) but once it passed I realized it wasn’t a long year, it was a great year!
Enjoy and cherish each day.
PS. Will turn 70,000 miles tomorrow. Still get excited to drive it.

We have had a relatively steady stream of teasers for well over a year including CAD leaks, order info, body panel shots, camo cars, interior shots, etc.

The problem is that some Vette followers seems to believe that GM must adhere to the followers schedule. GM does not have to meet the followers time line. GM does not have to release hints regarding performance, body shape, color etc. before the release event. Word leaks out and it starts some followers getting bent out of shape regarding dozens of topics. Take a chill pill and the specs of the car will be known soon. Then the followers can complain that the ordering and delivery process sucks. This will be followed in some number of years by a repeat of the entire process leading up to the C9.

I doubt the C8 will live up to the frenzied hype but possible. I think op is thinking like many of us, get on with it. My problem not sure want to chance a first year not at least until real life reviews. Hell can only use it around 5 months here anyway. Good Luck GM with the C8.

Well then, take up knitting or dog sitting....
.If you've got a C7, you're good. If you sold yours already, as some have, you may need therapy.

Nov. 2013 - Anticipation turns to anguish as the reports come in with differentials not filled with oil, huge panel gaps, infotainment displays going dead, engines going dead in the middle of the road, and paint orange peel over part or all of the car.
Sometimes it's better to dream.

LOL, I saw it up close in March of 13. Saw many issues.
Drove one at Bonduraunt in May of 14 and had it overheat.
That was enough for me to stay clear.
