Who is going?!

Is there an “Official” or unofficial CorvetteForum meet prior to the event, I figured it’ll be cool to get together. Brining the wife and the Z06 probably over the C4s down to Tustin from the Ventura County area.

wow, congratulations!

At first, I am thinking it would be so exciting and cool to be attending this event in person ( even though not invited)...... then after seeing other reveals on the youtube like the Dodge Demon, I quickly realized that I rather watch the live stream from the comfort of my bed on my laptop, or watch posted youtube videos one the next several days on the internet.

For me, I believe its gonna be too crowded and packed to be able to spend quality time examining the C8 with everyone else there packed in.

UNLESS GM brings and showcases 15 to 20 Corvette C8's at the event to be examined in person.

Just IMO. ( I already am wearing my flame suit )

Yeah you're crazy... being there in person to see the reveal of the first every mid-engine Corvette would be epic... I'll be watching the live stream as well, but would love to be there.

This is pretty 100% truth here though, that's the facts. The coverage gives you a better look and take on the entire event, versus sitting in a seat in a crowd. There is always something to be said to be "IN THE GAME" though. Inevitably....yeah...it's whatever. I'll be watching the stream and happily so. I'd go if I were invited of course I guess..but...no biggie.

Default Actually 2 days

This from the Ebay ad for the tickets:

The official 'C8' reveal will be held on the evening of Thursday, July 18. The following day, GM will host a reveal 'expo', giving participants the chance to see the car up close, network and talk to key people on their team, browse additional displays and more.

This auction is for two (2) tickets (two people) to the event and includes overnight accommodations for July 18 & 19, access to both days of reveal festivities, a group lunch and tour of an area auto museum on the morning of Friday, July 19, bus transportation to and from both days of activities, and as a special gift from the Museum, an event polo only available to those on this trip.

Transportation to Orange County, CA is ON YOUR OWN and not included in this package.

Lol....I am with you! I am on my 39TH Corvette (18 purchased new) and bought 5 in the past 3 years from one of the top 20 Corvette dealers in the nation! I visit them often and my last new Corvette was only purchased 3 months ago. I have told them of my intentions of purchasing a new C8 sometime after the reveal when pricing and options to order are available. I am pretty sure that I have purchased more Corvettes from them than anyone....but....no invitation as of yet! They have dealt well with me on my Corvette purchases so I am thankful for that! Sometimes no matter how worthy we may feel we are or should be...It just doesn't happen! Certainly not devastated by not getting a reveal invitation, but saw your post and feel the same.

If you are really not going to be there anyway, why does it matter? Just watch it the next day at your convenience. The world does not revolve around the east coast.

Alan, color ? You know my preference, betting it’s one of the new colors ?
Probably one of the new colors initially but I have to think a red one pops out there somewhere.
