See the nice, clean, crisp lines of the car. Maybe this is a final production version.

One nice thing is that it appears that they finally had the guts to remove ALL of the analog gauges. GOOD!
I always hated that all the space was dedicated to the analog gauges that most people did not look at. I recall reading that GM wanted to go full digital on the C7 but didn't out of fear of the "traditionalist" who would whine about it.

Give me a huge screen and a customizable read out!

Would think the seats & harness package is not production. They probably use the same cars for track testing.

Around 1:14 where they're looking at the seats you can see the engine through the glass behind the seats. May confirm the engine will be visible in the coupe at least.

I immediately thought of Mike and all of his alter egos including the new one when I saw this video... a C8 got fuel and then drove away...

Those side scoops are still embellished.

It's the cup holder lid door flipped up with some kind of button stuck on the underside.

Also... look at the steering wheel height vs. the Sparco seat... that wheel looks nice and high. Maybe the rumor that the car will have lots of room for taller folks is true. I'd say it gives great room to heel-toe, but I guess we don't need to do that anymore.

Yeah could be, looking at it quickly on a cell phone makes it tough. Zooming in on the still, very likely what you are describing.

Bullshit. Under heaving braking most of the weight of the car is on the front. It is supposed to be around 50/50 just like the front engined Corvette.

Loved it when they both peeled out of the station to give s a little show, then a little motorcycle makes some noise chasing after them.

I think it's funny how Europe banned the sales of Corvettes and SS Camaros due to the emissions, yet they have seen more of the C8 in person then we did. It's like saying lets ban the sell of Audi R8s in America which would be foolish. Bitter sweet, they tested it in Europe but they might never get it based on the engine emissions.

I thought the gist of that was they weren't going to bother certifying the engines of the outgoing cars, and that it was still likely the new vehicles would be certified for sale.
