How interesting... I can’t take credit for seeing this first.
1. It’s for a future iteration of the car and the display software shows in the base car.
2. Crazy twist... all C8s are hybrid AWD? Hope not. Electric front drive wouldn’t have a diff anyway.... would have dedicated motors.

OMG, if there is 4 wheel drive on a non hybrid base as an offering, would be so cool !
hopefully but doubtful.

KISS, an acronym for "keep it simple, stupid" or "keep it simple stupid", is a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960.[1][2] The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore, simplicity should be a key goal in design, and unnecessary complexity should be avoided. The phrase has been associated with aircraft engineer Kelly Johnson.[3] The term "KISS principle" was in popular use by 1970.[4] Variations on the phrase include: "Keep it simple, silly", "keep it short and simple", "keep it simple and straightforward",[5] "keep it small and simple", or "keep it stupid simple".[6]

It could also just be recycled from other software too. Wouldn't put it past them lol.

Ooh good carch tool hoarder. I never would've noticed that. I wouldn't know why though unless because we heard a turbo spool you pointed out in the video thread maybe they are testing out the supposedly hybrid system on the base model body so it wouldnt look suspicious. I don't know thats the best guess I got.

Because GM got my memo and knows that corvettes NEED four wheel drive AND room for 2 shepherds plus a pair of lounge chairs and inflatable pool in addition to 1.5g, 200+ up top and a blistering 0-60........is that really too high a bar????????

If this is a base model, maybe they're reusing the widget from a possible AWD model. Or, maybe the base model will include this configuration as an option (similar to how the current low-end V6 380 hp Jag F-types feature a similar AWD system as an option, for example) while a later, higher-perf model might leverage a hybrid AWD system. Just speculating.
