Default Why does the tire temp display appear to have two differentials?

How interesting... I can’t take credit for seeing this first.

1. It’s for a future iteration of the car and the display software shows in the base car.

2. Crazy twist... all C8s are hybrid AWD? Hope not. Electric front drive wouldn’t have a diff anyway.... would have dedicated motors.

KISS, an acronym for "keep it simple, stupid" or "keep it simple stupid", is a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960.[1][2] The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore, simplicity should be a key goal in design, and unnecessary complexity should be avoided. The phrase has been associated with aircraft engineer Kelly Johnson.[3] The term "KISS principle" was in popular use by 1970.[4] Variations on the phrase include: "Keep it simple, silly", "keep it short and simple", "keep it simple and straightforward",[5] "keep it small and simple", or "keep it stupid simple".[6]

It could also just be recycled from other software too. Wouldn't put it past them lol.

True... could be a widget from truck software not yet in final iteration.

Ooh good carch tool hoarder. I never would've noticed that. I wouldn't know why though unless because we heard a turbo spool you pointed out in the video thread maybe they are testing out the supposedly hybrid system on the base model body so it wouldnt look suspicious. I don't know thats the best guess I got.

I see the front and rear tire pressures in that gauge; front axle and rear axle.

I hope it's electric with two front motors and relegated to the "Zora/ZR1". I don't want it on the base car.

Because GM got my memo and knows that corvettes NEED four wheel drive AND room for 2 shepherds plus a pair of lounge chairs and inflatable pool in addition to 1.5g, 200+ up top and a blistering 0-60........is that really too high a bar????????

Perhaps while you're driving, it will indicate/highlight (with color?) in real-time, the power distribution to the front vs rear.

That would imply the car is AWD... which is highly doubtful for the base model.

It might answer your question, though ... why it would even show the axle/differential.

If this is a base model, maybe they're reusing the widget from a possible AWD model. Or, maybe the base model will include this configuration as an option (similar to how the current low-end V6 380 hp Jag F-types feature a similar AWD system as an option, for example) while a later, higher-perf model might leverage a hybrid AWD system. Just speculating.
