That is why I can imagine them ripping off the camo on Reveal Day and going for it.

I think this entire panel is fake. I noticed the rear deck area looks really flat and wide, I think the actual bodywork narrows towards the rear, more wasp-like than what is shown on the test cars.

If you look at the bottom in front of the rear wheel, it looks horrible. I think the whole rear fender is tacked on. The lines are all too basic and squared off, I think the line are gonna look very fluid, like a modern Mclaren.

No... just the scoop. The rest of the panel matches the CAD leak; take note of the rocker as it's dead on.

The scoops don’t stick out at all from a dead on back view.

The scoops stick out... period. Yes they flow very nicely back into the body, but where the cokebottle tapers in, they start to flare out.

It stands...No they won’t stick out from a dead on back view...
Not worth an argument with hour to go till the reveal,
Im sure someone will take a picture of the back.

Semantics... the scoops flare out from the body at that point... they will look nothing like the mundane renders some folks have been floating around.

From the rear view ,you won’t be able to tell that there are any scoops at all.Tho only flaring you will see is slightly above the rear wheels.

We could play yes they will,no they won’t if you’d like ...
It will burn a few hours till the reveal...

The scoops protrude relative to the coke bottle taper of the body. They look nothing like the mundane renders some are floating around now. The "small scoopers" are in denial.

Thats a 3/4 rear view.....by the way

I’ll repeat, from the rear view, you will see taillights ,the side view mirrors, quad mufflers ...And no dumbo ear scoops sticking out.
The widest part from the rear, not including the side mirrors of course, will be the section above the rear tyres.
The Coke bottle effect on the rockers of this vehicle will hide the very subtle scoops .

Nobody is saying there will be dumbo ears... if you think the scoops on that car above are subtle then you need to look up the definition of the word. Those scoops clearly angle out relative to the body.

Wondering if GM will use the "Most Track Capable Corvette" tag line for the C8z?
