Good question for sure. The rear deck portion of the C8 is quite large and an emblem would break it up a little, but it may be that they do away with it altogether. The addition of the Corvette script to the C7 was a last minute change as they were not planning to include the script on the C7 until shortly before the reveal.

Interesting... didn't know that. I took it off of mine and much preferred the look with the emblem only.

This was my last pic of the car... leaving her at the local Maserati dealer I sold it to in prep for the C8.

I took mine off of my 2014 just a couple of months after I brought it home. I hated cleaning between all of the letters, so off it came. For my 2017 Grand Sport, I had the script painted on the rear in Carbon Flash.

It is a large rear end, but there is so much going on I honestly don't see a logical spot for an emblem on the rear. I'm thinking there will be some type of Corvette script placed just below the spoiler

See post 158... it appears to be shorter than the C7 was (which had gotten extremely tall). A C7 parked next to a C4 is quite funny... it's 2X as tall. Even the "big butt" C5 looks short next to my C7.

From what we can see on the leaked rear end, there does not seem to be enough flat room anywhere for the logo flags

I can’t really see them putting it on the deck. Not because it won’t look good but because you won’t be able to see it from behind very well if at all.

Maybe they will just have the Corvette font like Chazcron has shown?

Maybe they will have a different branding treatment all together. ?

Very curious to see how the design team has resolved many features.

IMO, there are 2 problems with the rear: taillights and wing.
Other than that, it looks OK.

I'd say it's ugly, but in the bigger picture, if the car overall looks like crons renderings, it's not a deal breaker.
