How in the hell can GM make a ME Corvette that looks fabulous and has a NA V8 engine producing 495 HP which can do 0 - 60 under 3 seconds and stickers for under $60K? You have to go to a Porsche GT3 to get comparable HP and 0 - 60 time, and that stickers at $144K.
Note to GM: in order to keep up with demand, you'll have to work 3 shifts and weekends for at least a year, maybe two.

.....and so will everyone else and their dog. I am disappointed they didn’t bump the price enough to make it a little more exclusive. Would also help hold up used values. You take a royal *** whooping on Corvettes if buy new. Even with a $10k discount they will be giving in a year. Way too high on production numbers. But it does look sweet.

And who cares about used values? No matter how many they sell, Corvettes are a mass production sports car. You don't buy these as an investment. Smh

Ford does not worry about resale values on the f150 or saturating the market. and I’ve seen one of this go for over 100k

Didn’t say it doesn’t excite me to see it in person....because it does, and I know it’s a depreciating asset. When I got my C7 in early 15, kids would be filming my car. By the time I sold it 3 years later they were dime a dozen and prices dropped like a rock.....and I bought mine with GMS pricing. These will be no different. Many dealerships will gouge by adding admin on a mass produced car year 1 and then give $10,000 discounts by year 2. Happens with every new generation.

This New Vette is amazing from every angle! There is nothing I do not like and I like the fact that they kept the LT engine, It is going to be reliable and looks better than some exotics
that cost much more!

The car is amazing. seeing it in person was mind blowing. every angle looked good. the interior driving position and room (on driver side; didn't sit on the passenger side) was amazing.
pics can't do it justice, if you have a chance to see it in person in the dealership shows, i would highly recommend it.

car looks better than expected and if the numbers back up the looks, GM has a winner.
The ferrari boys will always tout the prancing pony and complain about the rear end looks as it's what they will be seeing alot of
The c8 will break a few hearts and indeed be a pant load for many folks. Maybe they will buy one and Corvette will take off
Can't beat the price performance value. Let the haters hate!! The car surprised me with a few things
1. The headlights look great
2. The toothy grin grill insert is smaller than I thought it would be and looks better
3. The two tone rear looks good and the side scoop highlight trim even though awkward, looks good
4. The interior really looks nice. Much more "caddy like" and upscale.
Don't like
1. The wide interior console cramps room. Seems overly large and no torq tube so what's taking the room?
2. The rear, loose the cracker jack looking black vents, they look really cheap. Over styled, spoiler looks horrible, integrate it into the rear please.
3. Front fascia would look better without all the cheap plastic inserts just like the rear. Less is more here, integrate a nicer vent.
4. That I can't get in line to buy one. The car overall is killer.
