I was not a hater, but the reveal even shifted my response several orders of magnitude to the right.
I may order one this weekend.

It’s a mixed bag for me. The claimed performance for the price is very good. Looks wise, there are thing I like and things I really don’t like. Overall, I’m still interested, but will need to see it in person and test drive it.
Also, the quick clip they showed at the end of the C8.R looked really nice. I’m hoping a wide body really changes the look for the good.

Some things I definitely am not fond of (rear end, center console.....but I'm definitely still in and just waiting for my call from Mike!

Why sound like an idiot? First, many are not haters, just disappointed it will never have a manual. Second, any version above the base will be around $100K or more. Hell, better be sure the Z51 will add $10K + to the sticker price! lolzzzzzzzzz

I very likely will buy a base first year, though as nice as the video was, I need a first hand look first, but it was FANTASTIC, congrats GM.
I don't think will see one up here very soon, probably not too much longer than the US maybe.

Given there was no mention of a manual transmission and mid engine cars are a pain to work on absolutely not. I like to do all my own work and modify my cars, so it's a turn off to me when they are a real challenge to work on. I think the back end looks like what the next generation Camaro rear end would be, if it were to get a next generation. The C7 is truly an aggressive looking car, wide body ones, and the C8 does not age the C7 at all in my opinion.

It is better than I expected. I think familiarity will also move me into loving it.
