I went for a test drive in the 2019 Acura NSX and was amazed. Exterior, interior, performance....And the guy sucked at launching it. The launch is sick.
I do appreciate the Acura NSX and their Type-R to come out will have over 600 hp.

As a brand agnostic, I also prefer the C8 design. With the 2X or more starting price difference, Honda is miserable tonight.

The quarter window excecution, ... (Or lack thereof) on the C8, ... gives it too much "cab forward" appearance. Acura did a better job and made a better, balanced, looking car.

The NSX looks better from a side view because of it's proportions, but it also has barely any cargo space and can't carry a set of golf clubs...

Funny now different perceptions are. I think the C8 is far better looking from the side view.

NSX looks like that Audi TT thing...America Wins! Oh by the way, this is just the Stingray...Wait till big brother Z06 steps into the ring with its bells and whistles and its absolutely lights out!
BTW...Pictures give it no justice.

I agree. I doubt that many will get in line to pay twice as much for what they think is a better quarter window execution. But to each his own. I imagine there will be deep discounts on the NSX when the C8 becomes available, so that may slightly lessen the price gap before it is done. NSX should be collectible, though.

Also, the person that bought an NSX instead of C7 in the first place will be the same type of people that buy them over the C8. They just want a car you don’t see everyday. Currently there are only about 800-900 NSX’s in the United States. How long will it take Corvette to beat that number? A week? I’m not complaining though, means with a nicely optioned one I’ll probably be out the door for 80k or less.
